Taj Mahal and Elephant ride

                                               It took 22 years for the Taj Mahal to be fully constructed.

                                              This is one of the four towers surrounding the Taj. They look straight but they are actually leaning outwards outwards. They were afraid that earthquakes would happen and the towers would fall on the beautiful Taj Mahal.

I took a friend to the zoo and gave him my favorite book. He said he would read it and I can't wait to ask him what he thinks.

 The two pictures above were taken during Dewali, the celebration of light. Candles are everywhere and firecrackers are shot off constantly for two days straight.
